Portfolio Exhibit 3
Portfolio Exhibit 3
Like I disclosed in my portfolio exhibit 1, I recently got engaged! So I decided to create a "save the date" card to send in the mail. For this exhibit, I practiced what I had learned from the exercises in previous weeks.
Photoshop skills I used:
Warp tool
Eyedropper tool
Paintbrush tool
Rectangle tool
Grid tool
Text tool
Design Considerations:
For the color scheme, I wanted to have the colors respond well and match our engagement photo, so I used the eyedropper tool and took colors from my beanie and roses.
To create better alignment, I centered the photo both vertically and horizontally, then I centered the top and bottom text from thereon.
I wanted to add more unique details so I used the twig illustrations and used repetition and proximity. With the twig illustrations, I also lowered the opacity to make them blend well together.
I chose a simple font called Loves so it wouldn't distract or take anything away from the photo itself.
