Here at Havemose detailing we do things differently than your average corner car wash. Just our standard wash process is 11 steps. All the products and techniques that we employ are designed to deeply cleanse and decontaminate the paintwork while preventing any further damage.

Paint correction is the process of removing marring, swirl marks and other imperfections out of the clear coat. It includes single/multiple stage machine polishing along with wet-sanding if needed. This process is what brings paintwork back to life, and often results in a better than factory finish.

This stage of the detail is by far the most time consuming, taking anywhere from 6 to 40+ hours per vehicle but essential for proper bonding between clear coat and coating.

Ceramic coatings, are the best form of paint protection on the market. Composed of Sio2 particles, they provide the most gloss, water beading, water sheeting, paint protection, chemical resistance, and durability of anything on the market.

This ceramic coating is perfect for someone who is looking to get the benefits and protection of a ceramic coating but doesn't want to spend upwards of $1200 for a full paint correction and triple layer coating. With good maintenance, we can expect about a year to a year and a half of protection with the product we use.

Our flagship coating consists of Crystal Serum Light as a base coat, and two top coats of EXO V4. The special part about the top coat we use is that it was formulated for salty roads and harsh winter driving conditions, perfect for our Montana winters. With proper maintenance we expect to see 3-5 years of protection.

When we've done some kind of coating on a vehicle, we will offer some form of maintenance plan. This can include monthly, bi weekly, or weekly washes, along with an optional interior detail.

Graphene coatings used to be our flagship service. After comparing the results we got to some of the ceramic coatings we use, along with an extensive amount of research into the chemistry of graphene effectiveness, we realized graphene coatings were not worth the higher price tag.
