As she has needed to juggle being an Association Manager, wife, mother, grandmother, and church music director, Caroljean Hauze, President and Founder, has learned to be humble. Many who know her testify that she is very talented, graceful, faithful, and a good listener. She asserts that being able to listen to others is crucial to her work. Alas, as she collaborates with those of many ethnicities, values, and life situations, she knows the importance of letting people express themselves and, as necessary, vent. She feels that tolerance is the most valuable trait she can offer to her colleagues and residents. As a result, she knows when to speak and when to patiently listen. She also is aware of what matters are urgent and serious, and which to take "with a grain of salt."
Furthermore, she invests much into the lives of those in her professional and personal circles. She maintains an interest in learning new cultures and traditions, showing respect and accommodation for customs different from hers. She enjoys seeing progress in the making and taking, helping those as much as she is able throughout. She also enjoys reaching out to those in turmoil, helping them to retain equilibrium. On the other hand, she has a strong sense of justice and cannot stand idle when anyone is being exploited or not respecting rules and policies set for the betterment of the properties. She feels it is crucial for everyone to work together and honor the needs and rights of others as well as their own.
Much of her values and business ethics are rooted in her strong Christian faith. She is able to understand and honor the religious beliefs of others, but she is a committed Christian who is the music director of a local Lutheran church. From this faith, she has found the strength to be a manager to her associations, a wife to her husband, and a mother and grandmother to all of her children. She says that she has been able to do all of this by taking things one day at a time. Most assuredly, she declares, God gives you strength and wisdom exactly when you need it--not before or after!
For those who are interested in becoming an Association Manager like Caroljean Hauze, she would have a plethora of knowledge. First, she stresses the importance of going to school and getting a CMCA license, as well as a State of Illinois license. Additionally, she advises that Association Managers must be on-call 24/7, and they must be willing to prepare for the sacrifice of personal time when things arise.
For a company that is friendly, practical, and efficient, there is none better than Hauze Management, Inc!
