About your Landlords

Carrie (she/fae) is a high school science teacher. She is on the first floor. She generally works Monday thru Saturday during the school year, and some days during Summer months. She loves to watch mystery and sci fi movies, as well as read about them.

Charei (Monet or Momo) (she/they) is a jack of all trades and our resident house manager/cleaner. If you need something and Carrie is working please check in with her. She loves talking about RVs, camping, tiny houses, nerdy stuff and anime. 

Host dogs

If you are wary or unused to dogs, it is okay and expected for you to assert your spatial boundaries with our dogs. You will need to tell them to sit, back up, down, off or no. We will also do this, but they will get confused by your body language if you are also not asserting your boundaries with these commands. 

Our dogs are very friendly. Rona Tigger is a medical alert service dog for Carrie, and Gemma Pooh is in training for mobility service dog work. Rona Tigger is a Catahoula pit mix (including boxer, Staffordshire terrier, Siberian husky, and chow chow) and will jump and lick you if she can. Be extra firm with her or she won't listen. Gemma Pooh is a 150lb puppy at the moment (2.5yrs old English Mastiff) and is very friendly and sweet. If you are happy and speak in a squeaky voice, she will just wiggle harder. She loves meeting people more than dogs and loves to be pet. Both of our girls will greet you like you're long lost family and will smell you, lick your shoes and possibly steal your socks (Gemma). Please keep the doors shut when you are not actively entering or exiting. If you have any concerns, please feel free to approach us and we will remove them from your space. They do love to watch people, and follow you around to see what you are doing. 

Common commands Sit, down, off, gentle, stay, back, move, outside, come, return, stop, wait, go to bed (particularly if they are being barky or too excited), time out, enough, bring it (for toys or balls), no bark, settle, no bite, and others.
