Bay Area Homeless Services
The mission of Bay Area Homeless Services (BAHS) is to assist the homeless and those at risk of homelessness to attain self-sufficiency, acquire permanent housing, and return to independent living as contributing members of society by providing an array of supportive services.

The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army- Center of Hope
Center of Hope is a supportive navigation shelter for single men and veterans. They help navigation through many barriers to success, including health problems, lack of job skills, and addiction issues.

The Salvation Army Jones Family Residence
The Jones Residence is a housing navigation program designed to transition homeless women and families back into the community. The Salvation Army provides case management, childcare, job skills training, substance abuse counseling, job placement, and referral to resources when needed.

The Beacon
The Beacon is a central hub of services for individuals experiencing homelessness. CY-FAIR Helping Hands
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, those experiencing homelessness are invited to CY-FAIR Helping Hands Day Center as a place of respite from the stressors of homelessness. Each person may shower, do laundry, apply for housing, charge devices, obtain clothing, receive mail, enjoy some much-needed fellowship, worship, and eat a hot meal.

Houston VA Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC)
The Houston VA Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) provides Veterans who are homeless and at risk of homelessness with one-stop access to community-based, multiagency services to promote permanent housing, health and mental health care, career development and access to VA and non-VA benefits.
Daily services:
Showers: Monday-Friday from 8:00-11:30 a.m.
Laundry services: Monday-Friday from 8:00-11:00 a.m.
Computer lab: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m.-noon; Tuesday from 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Friday from noon-4:00 p.m.
Other services range from transportation for disabled Veterans to and from VA health care facilities and authorized non-VA health care appointments and Homeless veteran care.

Parks Youth Ranch

Ambassadors for Christ Youth Ministries
AFC Youth Ministries provides housing and supportive services for runaway and homeless youth (ages 16–22). These programs help youth transition from homelessness to stable, self-sufficient living.
Programs include:
Transitional Living Program (TLP): Safe housing, life skills training, education and employment support, and mental health services to help youth achieve independence.
Street Outreach Program (SOP): Crisis intervention, housing referrals, and connection to community resources for youth at risk of or experiencing exploitation or homelessness.

The Tejano Center offers a variety of housing-services to help individuals, families, young adults, and seniors find stability and independence.
Services include:
Nueva Vida Senior Citizen Housing – HUD-affordable apartments for low-income seniors aged 62+.
Supportive Housing for Young Adults – Housing options such as Sunrise Lofts and upcoming projects like OST Lofts for youth transitioning out of foster care.
Affordable Housing & Community Redevelopment – Builds affordable housing and offers homebuyer education, housing counseling, homeowner support, and disaster recovery assistance.
The Tejano Center also offers a wide range of community programs including education, youth services, health and wellness, family support, and citizenship assistance.

Madge Bush Transitional Living Center
MBTLC is a 16-unit 1-bdrm apartment complex for homeless single women with 1-2 children in their custody. If there are two children, and one of the children is 5 years of age, then the children must be the same gender because they will share a bedroom.
Requirements:
Participate in the onsite life skills classes
Attend school to earn a license or certification or work at least part-time, save 30% of their earnings
Meet with the case manager once a week.
