History of the Alley
1940
"Hastings Recreation" opens at 118 N Michigan Ave. William Schrader was the original owner
1957
The alley moves to its current location on Woodlawn Ave.
1962-2023
The Lambert family era begins. Automatic pinsetters are installed, leagues are expanded, and local ownership is preserved.
2023-Present
The Hawk family from Detroit, MI bought the alley! It was a commitment to their long-time passion of bowling and remains a community gathering place.
