A Little About Myself
My name is Hasan-Uz-Zaman Ashik, and I am a very practical person and my understanding is prodded by actually seeing things working. I built myself to pursue creative role in organization that encourages challenging and creative projects.
Over the years, I have gained a wide-ranging set of skills, qualities and attributes that, I believe, make me a competent, supportive, professional and flexible in DevOps and software industry. I always focus on how I can add value to the organization by providing secure and innovative solutions and increase productivity of different teams.
In the early stage of my career I have been doing network troubleshooting based on complaints from customers, which is in mostly layer 2 and 3 of OSI model architecture. To improve productivity, I have started learning layer 4 to 7 protocols. I have been developing python-based applications to configure and collect data from devices to troubleshoot quickly and create different reports for my team as well as customers. For example, making report on tertiary protection circuit of a customer and send it via mail automatically will help both parties to avoid surprises when primary and secondary both get down at the same time. In addition, I have been learning and developing several monitoring tools using stacks like Telegraf, InfluxDB and Grafana to overcome SNMP limitations. I am also learning deployment of SDN (OpenDaylight) in network industry to meet network slicing and low latency 5g requirements.
I love developing apps using several programming languages, troubleshooting issues in running codes and building Django web apps. My career goal is to become expert developer with diverse skills in DevOps and software development industry.
