HAR WAI MUN was born in Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia and received his Bachelor of Economics (Hons) specializing in the field of Industrial Economics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2000. He furthered his studies in the same university and received his Master of Economics in the field of Financial Economics in 2001. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Currently, he is a senior lecturer in the Economics Department of a private university in Malaysia and has teaching experiences of more than 18 years. He has published articles in various academic journals, periodicals, and newspapers.
