Harshwave formed on April 26, 2025 as a nu-metalcore and gaze genre project. Their debut EP, The Banshee Calls, originally started creation being called Hyperspace Volatility Chamber. The first demo version of the EP was created on June 20, 2025, before the final version went into creation. The first single, Integrity Fades, was released with a music video on Ifyou'reseeingthispleaseremindmetoputadatehere, followed by Imogen and it's music video on fuckIgottareleasethisshittbh. The full EP released on August 28th, featuring a blend of crushing nu-metalcore and cinematic shoegaze textures.
