About Me
I am currently a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Semantic Machines
I have a PhD from CMU in the field of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.
Prior to this, I worked at Adobe Research Labs, Bangalore. I have B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (2010-2014) from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
I have been very passionate about competitive programming, and was able to qualify for ACM ICPC 2014 world finals held at Ekaterinburg, Russia. I love to play tt and football. I spend a lot of time reading and watching videos on various topics about history of world and astronomy.

November 2021: Successfully defended thesis !!
November 2021: Our EMNLP paper on figurative language and dialog systems was mentioned in UCSD press release
August 2021: 2 got accepted to EMNLP 2021 and will be presented orally
May 2021: 2 short papers got accepted at ACL 2021
November 2020: Thesis proposal done!
September 2020: I was one of the winners of Adobe Fellowship 2020 !!

May 2020: Interning at Facebook FAIR
August 2019: 1 short paper accepted to EMNLP 2019
May 2019: Started internship at AI2 Seattle. Will be working with Peter Clark on explanation generation.
August 2018: Graduated from MLT program and starting PhD with Taylor Berg-Kirkpatrick
August 2018: 1 long paper on summarizing differences between images accepted to EMNLP 2018
