Synergistic Activities

Was selected as the Convener for the Astronomy Club, Tezpur University that encourages students to study and observe nearby astrophysical bodies and phenomena by providing access to Tezpur University Observatory. As the convener I was responsible for organizing and managing the astronomy workshops, events and weekly sessions as well as managing the finances for the club.

A one of a kind organization run by a committee of elected students of Tezpur University. As a spokesperson my duties involved giving scientific presentations, being at the forefront of outreach programmes, anchoring for science workshops and events organized by the council.

Under the National Service Scheme(NSS), India. This programme provides cost free weekly classes for the underprivileged students in local village schools who don't have access to quality education. I was providing weekly classes for Science and English.

These programmes aim to inculcate scientific mentality among the underprivileged students in local villages by holding frequent talks on Science and Astronomy.
