About Me
I was awarded my PhD in Psychology from Northumbria University in 2023. In my research life I work on large-scale collaborative projects spanning both social psychology and metascience. On the metascience branch we are attempting to estimate the analytical robustness of the social and behavioural sciences. On the social psychology branch I am a lead on the #ManyHappyPeople project, which is a newly launched global megastudy testing the effectiveness of frequently-recommended behaviours for increasing happiness. This is exciting work completed as part of my postdoc fellowship at ELTE University.
I also do research in psycholinguistics, running entirely open science experiments to understand the production and comprehension of language about human health.
In my teaching life I teach statistics at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have been a demonstrator at Northumbria University since 2018, assisting workshop delivery and designing/delivering lectures on statistics and research methods. I have also acted as associate lecturer in 2024 leading a module in research methods.
