A showreel of animations created for my original character, Emilie Twilight. The footage shown is taken using the player controller within Unreal Engine 5, meaning the character can be controlled by the player in-game.
The animations created for this character consist of the following:
An idle animation
A walk animation
An emote animation
Some of the features of this character, such as the braided hair, is animated in real-time using Unreal Engine's simulated bone physics.
A 3D animation reel created for an assignment at the University of Gloucestershire.
The brief stated to create a series of animations; these being a bouncy ball animation, a demonstration of weight, a fight sequence and a lip sync for an audio of personal choosing.
The animations utilise Disney's 12 principles of animation to create believable, entertaining and aesthetically pleasing animations.
A short video showcasing the different types of movement animated for Polaris 13, a game created by 'Absolute Entertainment'.
The team stated they wanted the following animations:
Idle.

Float.
A 2D animation created for a Creative Skills Assignment at University. Targeted towards a younger audience, the narrative explores the journey of a Robin from the beginning of life to finding happiness. The animation was created using Adobe Premiere Pro with the addition of license-free audio.
