Welcome to the Harrogate Lunar Society based in the North Yorkshire town of Harrogate in the UK. We usually meet at the Harrogate Tap public house (by the railway station) on most Wednesday evenings at 7.45 pm, Email harlunsoc@yahoo.co.uk for details of our meetings.
Not only do we discuss science and technology ranging from how things work, chemistry, astronomy, physics and computers over a pint or three, but we do experiments and take things apart. Recent topics are given in the attached proceedings.
We are very sad at the death of Gordon Marks, one of the core members of the Harrogate Lunar Society. Other members are Terry, Philip, John, Zena, Mike and Paul.
