Are you a writer/author in need of some honest, detailed, and witty feedback on your manuscript? 

Well, look no further!

I am currently open to critiquing / beta-reading!

I provide free critique samples (5-10 pages of your choosing) so you can get a feel for my critique style and see if it's the best fit for you and your manuscript. What you will receive in your critique/beta-read:

A full critique/beta-read of your manuscript 

Around 3ish comments per page

Developmental edits focusing on the overall story with some general line/copy edits

Deep, honest feedback, thoughts, & questions to ponder on

Witty comments ;3 

An editor's letter email with a well-thought-out review of your story

Any other specific requests or focuses 

(EX: flow, character development, world building, clarity, voice, plot, etc.)

How my Critique Process Works:

1. Please email me a 5-10 page sample of your manuscript with a thorough description of what you would like to be critiqued/beta-read. Please include your email, name, story title, genre, full manuscript word count, what you would like me to focus on when critiquing, and any other details/concerns. 

(NOTE: Please send me a .doc or .docx file, preferably in traditional manuscript format. If your manuscript is not formatted, it will be formatted like so: Please include your name, your story title, and page numbers in the top right hand heading on each page. Your manuscript should also be in 12pt. Times New Roman font, double-spaced, and with 1in. margins. Thanks in advance!) 

2. After you email me your sample, I will critique it and email it back to you within a week at maximum. 

3. If you like my critique style and want to work further with me, we will discuss your manuscript and negotiate a timeframe and pricing, which will be paid half in advance through Venmo before I can get started.

(NOTE: Expected critique completion time is around 4-12 weeks, depending on the word count, amount of critiques, and if delays occur, but the longer the timeframe, the more thorough the critique and feedback will be!)

4. Once you email me your full manuscript, I will update you via email if there's any delays and will keep you updated on the progress. 

5. Once I have fully critiqued your manuscript, I will send the critiqued version back along with an editor's letter email, and the other half of the pricing will be paid through Venmo. 

5. That's it! Then you can enjoy your critiqued manuscript! 

PLEASE PLEASE *PLEASE* REMEMBER: Don't take all the comments to heart! It's best to let the critiques sit for a while before immediately jumping into your next round of revisions and edits. 

And also remember: YOU'RE the author! YOU get to make all the final shots :)

Critique price: $10 per 1,000 words 

(please round to the nearest thousandth)

(EX: A 59,821 word manuscript would round up to be 60,000 words, which would cost $600)
