Find Open Educational Resources fast using the Library’s OneSearch tool. Discover open articles, ebooks, book chapters and more, in just a few keystrokes. SPARC notes, “The rapidly rising cost of textbooks in higher education has left many students without access to the materials they need to succeed. Studies show that 93% of students who use OER do as well or better than those using traditional materials, since they have easy access to the content starting day one of the course.” The Library is helping to make that happen.

The labs can also be used in future face-to-face classes as alternate assignments for students who miss class, need accommodations, or seek a deeper understanding of certain topics from the comfort of their home or library.
In this video, we will explore some ways to transfer the skills, tools, and practices that have worked successfully in asynchronous classes. We will look at practical ways to improve accessibility, equity, and integrate technology in our face-to-face classes when they resume post-pandemic.
