My name is Melina Kehtar and I'm a harpist based in Denver, Colorado. I've been playing harp since I was 11 years old under the instruction of Mrs. Yumiko Endo Schlaffer. I was named a Texas All-State Harpist by my junior year of high school and I went on to study music with an emphasis in American Harp Studies. I went to the University of Texas at Austin and was under the instruction of Professor Delaine Leonard from 2017 until I graduated in 2021.

I'm classically-trained and have participated in solo recitals, smaller ensembles, and larger productions, including band, orchestra, and opera. I can play any genre from classical to jazz to. popular music. My main focus includes playing in shows, private events, lessons and recordings.

When I'm not playing the harp, I'm a doctoral student studying counseling psychology. In my free time, I love to snowboard, play with my dog, and go to concerts!
