Registration

• Step 1: Registration on GIAN portal for all participants:
• A token (one time) registration fee of Rs.500/- (non-refundable) will be charged from all participants in order to avoid casual and bogus registration on the portal in large numbers and to ensure that the registration is done by genuine users who want to enrol for courses facilitated by GIAN programme. Once registered, he/she can apply for any number of courses. However, mere registration to GIAN portal will not ensure selection as participant in a course.

• Step 2: Course fee for students:
• Course fee is waived for unwaged participants and students.
• Nevertheless, in order to avoid casual and bogus commitments, students will be charged a nominal refundable amount (Rs.1000/- for a one week course). This money will be refunded once student joins the course.

Participants from abroad : US $500 (Apart from GIAN registration)

Industry/ Research Organizations: INR 20000

Academic Institutions ( salaried academics from India): INR 5000

students (from India): INR 1000 (refundable, subject to joining the course)

The above fee include all instructional materials, computer use for tutorials and assignments, laboratory equipment usage charges, 24 hr free internet facility. Students will receive a grade card if they require one (1 credit course) Last date of registration for the course: deadline extended to 25th November 2017

• As per the guidelines given in the course format or as decided by the course coordinator/host institution.
