Show up - Make every effort to be in class regularly and be on time. You will have less stress and get better grades.
Communicate - If you are having problems, let people know. It is easier for a teacher to be flexible and helpful if they understand what is going on.
Collaborate - Talk to people, get involved, and minimize the time you spend on social media and work with others. Life will be so much easier.
Eat and Sleep - Seriously eat well and sleep - you will feel better for it.
De-phone - Put your phone in your bag and don't let it rule your life.
Fun - Have some!
Student Connect - You should be going on Student Connect everyday. It is up to you to make sure your marks are right. Don't be surprised at the end of the term.

Cell Phones - The Good, the bad and the ugly!
The Good: They make our lives easier, they are fun and they are important to our social lives
The Bad: They can be very distracting, waste a lot of time, and keep us from doing our work
The Ugly: Cyber bullying is no joke and what you put online can negatively affect your lives.
So:
In the Harkley classroom cell phone use will be simple:
- There is will be "Phone Time" and there will be "No Phone Time"
- When it is "No Phone Time" please put your phone away some where you can't hear it, see it or feel it.
- When it is "Phone Time" use it sparingly, productively and ethically.
