Mr. Haris Siddique is a Lecturer in Software Engineering at Qaiwan International University (QIU), an internationally recognized institution affiliated with Malaysia’s top-ranked Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Concurrently, he is pursuing his PhD at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), furthering his research in AI-driven digital transformation for industries.
With a strong academic foundation, Mr. Siddique holds an MS in IT from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), where his thesis, "Gender-Dependent Emotion Detection at Word-Level Using Global Spectral Speech Features", laid the groundwork for his expertise in speech processing and affective computing. His research has been published in peer-reviewed venues.
Teaching & Leadership
As an educator, Mr. Siddique has years of experience at UTP, where he facilitated courses in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Data Structures. At QIU, he leads lectures and labs for undergraduate programs, specializing in Software Development & Architecture, Cloud Computing Applications, Real-Time Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence.
