I am a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Binghamton University working with Emmett Wyman. 

My research is in developing and using tools in fractal geometry and harmonic analysis that can be applied to data science, machine learning, and computational learning theory.

Prior to this I earned a Ph.D. at the University of Rochester, an M.S. in mathematics at NYU, an LL.M. in Chinese Law at Tsinghua University, a J.D. at NYU, and a B.S. in computer science (with a minor in applied mathematics) at Cornell University. In addition, I've worked in software, microfinance, law, and data science.
