Development Economist — Health, Social Norms, & Gender

Welcome! I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Alicante and am an incoming Postdoctoral Researcher at the NOVA School of Business and Economics (from September 2026). My research in development economics focuses on gender, health, and social norms, evaluating how religious and cultural institutions shape welfare outcomes, combining large-scale survey data with field-based evidence.

I have previously been a fellow at the World Bank’s Development Research Group and the  International Livestock Research Institute.
