Brewly is a coffee, matcha and tea journal for iPhone. It is built so that your journal stays on your phone. This policy explains, in plain words, what the app stores, where it stores it and what (very little) leaves your device.

1. The short version

• There is no account and no sign-in.

• Your journal is stored only on your iPhone. We do not run a server and we never receive your cups, cafés, pantry, recipes, notes or photos.

• There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking in Brewly. We do not use your data to track you across other apps or websites.

• The only outside service the app talks to is RevenueCat, to check whether you have Brewly Premium. It receives an anonymous ID and your purchase information, never your journal.

2. What is stored on your iPhone

Everything you enter is saved in a database inside the app's private storage on your device (an SQLite database). This includes:

• the drinks you log (drink, size, milk, sweetener, price, caffeine estimate, rating, date and time, notes);

• café names and cities you type in, and the loyalty stamps the app counts for them;

• your pantry (beans, matcha, tea: names, roaster, origin, dates, weights, prices, notes);

• recipes you create or copy;

• your settings (language, currency, units, caffeine limit, reminder choices).

Photos. If you add a photo to a cup or a pantry item, Brewly saves a smaller copy (at most 1080 pixels) in the app's own folder. Location and camera details (EXIF metadata) are removed from that copy. The original photo in your library is not changed or uploaded.

Home Screen widget. If you add the Brewly widget, the app shares a small summary with it on your device (today's cup count and caffeine, this month's café spending, and the names of up to two "usual" drinks). This uses an iOS App Group, which is storage shared only between the Brewly app and its own widget on the same device.

Backups. Like other iPhone apps, Brewly's data may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer) if you have turned those on. Those backups are handled by Apple and controlled by you in iOS Settings. We cannot read them.

3. Permissions and why we ask

Brewly only asks for a permission at the moment you use the feature that needs it. You can say no and the rest of the app keeps working. You can change these at any time in iOS Settings → Brewly.

• Camera: to take a photo of a cup or a bag of beans when you tap "Take a photo". Photos stay on your phone.

• Photos (choose a photo): to pick an existing photo for a cup or a pantry item. Photos stay on your phone.

• Photos (add only): used when you choose "Save Image" in the iOS share sheet to save a share card to your library. Brewly does not read your library for this.

• Notifications: for gentle reminders you can turn on or off: caffeine cut-off time, a daily reminder, your end-of-month receipt, pantry freshness and low-stock alerts, and long brew-timer steps. These are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No notification server is involved. Pantry alerts may show a product name (for example "Ethiopia Guji") on your lock screen.

Brewly does not access your location, contacts, microphone, health data or advertising identifier.

4. Sharing and export (only when you choose)

• Share cards: when you tap Share, Brewly draws an image (for example a receipt-style card) and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next (Messages, Instagram, Photos…) is your choice and is covered by that app's own policy.

• CSV export: when you export your data, Brewly creates a CSV file on your device and hands it to the share sheet. We never receive it.

Temporary files created for sharing are kept in the app's temporary folder, which iOS clears automatically.

5. Purchases and RevenueCat

Brewly Premium is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never see your name, Apple ID, email address or payment details.

To find out whether your purchase or subscription is active (on this device and when you tap "Restore"), Brewly uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives:

• a random, anonymous app user ID created by the RevenueCat software on your device (not linked to your name or Apple ID by us);

• your purchase information from Apple (which product, purchase and expiry dates, trial and renewal status, store country and currency);

• basic technical information needed to make the request (such as app version, iOS version, device model and your IP address as part of the internet connection).

This information is used only to provide Premium (app functionality). It is not used for advertising or tracking, and it does not include any of your journal data. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy — Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or from Brewly's Settings.

6. How long data is kept and how to delete it

• Your journal stays on your iPhone until you delete it.

• Settings → Delete all data removes all cups, cafés, pantry items, recipes and photos from the app. Your app preferences (such as language and currency) are kept.

• Deleting the Brewly app removes all of its data from your iPhone, including the widget's summary.

• Purchase records are kept by Apple and by RevenueCat so that you can restore your purchases. Because the RevenueCat ID is anonymous, we may not be able to identify your record; if you would like it removed, contact us and we will do our best to help.

7. Health information

Caffeine values in Brewly are general estimates for your own reference. They are not medical advice. Brewly does not read from or write to Apple Health.

8. Children

Brewly is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed to collect personal information from anyone. Because Brewly has no accounts and we do not receive journal data, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your rights

Data protection laws such as the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK give you rights over your personal data. Because your journal is stored only on your device, you are in control of it: you can view, change, export or delete it in the app at any time. For anything related to purchase records held by RevenueCat, or for any other privacy question, contact us at the address below.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how Brewly handles data, we will update this page and change the effective date above. If a change is significant (for example, if Brewly ever starts sending journal data off your device), we will also tell you inside the app before it takes effect.

Brewly, iPhone için bir kahve, matcha ve çay günlüğüdür. Günlüğün telefonunda kalacak şekilde tasarlandı. Bu politika, uygulamanın neyi nerede sakladığını ve cihazından neyin (çok az şeyin) çıktığını sade bir dille anlatır.

1. Kısaca

• Hesap yok, giriş yapmak gerekmiyor.

• Günlüğün yalnızca iPhone'unda saklanır. Bir sunucumuz yok; fincanların, kafelerin, kilerin, tariflerin, notların ve fotoğrafların bize hiç gelmez.

• Brewly'de analiz aracı, reklam ve izleme yoktur. Verilerini seni başka uygulamalarda veya web sitelerinde takip etmek için kullanmayız.

• Uygulamanın konuştuğu tek dış hizmet, Brewly Premium'un olup olmadığını kontrol eden RevenueCat'tir. RevenueCat anonim bir kimlik ve satın alma bilgini görür, günlüğünü asla görmez.

2. iPhone'unda saklananlar

Girdiğin her şey, cihazındaki uygulamaya özel alanda bulunan bir veritabanına (SQLite) kaydedilir. Buna şunlar dahildir:

• kaydettiğin içecekler (içecek, boyut, süt, tatlandırıcı, fiyat, kafein tahmini, puan, tarih ve saat, notlar);

• yazdığın kafe adları ve şehirleri, uygulamanın bunlar için saydığı sadakat damgaları;

• kilerin (çekirdek, matcha, çay: ad, kavurucu, menşe, tarihler, gramajlar, fiyatlar, notlar);

• oluşturduğun veya kopyaladığın tarifler;

• ayarların (dil, para birimi, birimler, kafein sınırı, hatırlatma tercihleri).

Fotoğraflar. Bir fincana veya kiler ürününe fotoğraf eklersen Brewly, uygulamanın kendi klasörüne küçültülmüş bir kopya (en fazla 1080 piksel) kaydeder. Bu kopyadan konum ve kamera bilgileri (EXIF) silinir. Galerindeki asıl fotoğraf değiştirilmez ve hiçbir yere yüklenmez.

Ana ekran widget'ı. Brewly widget'ını eklersen uygulama, cihazında widget ile küçük bir özet paylaşır (bugünkü fincan sayısı ve kafein, bu ayki kafe harcaması, en fazla iki "her zamanki" içeceğin adı). Bunun için yalnızca Brewly uygulaması ile kendi widget'ı arasında, aynı cihazda paylaşılan bir iOS App Group alanı kullanılır.

Yedekler. Diğer iPhone uygulamaları gibi Brewly'nin verileri de açtıysan cihaz yedeklerine (iCloud Yedekleme veya bilgisayara yedek) dahil olabilir. Bu yedekleri Apple yönetir, sen de iOS Ayarlar'dan kontrol edersin. Biz bu yedekleri okuyamayız.

3. İzinler ve nedenleri

Brewly bir izni yalnızca o izne ihtiyaç duyan özelliği kullandığın anda ister. "Hayır" diyebilirsin; uygulamanın geri kalanı çalışmaya devam eder. İzinleri istediğin zaman iOS Ayarlar → Brewly'den değiştirebilirsin.

• Kamera: "Fotoğraf çek"e dokunduğunda bir fincanın veya kahve paketinin fotoğrafını çekmek için. Fotoğraflar telefonunda kalır.

• Fotoğraflar (fotoğraf seçme): bir fincan veya kiler ürünü için galerinden fotoğraf seçmek için. Fotoğraflar telefonunda kalır.

• Fotoğraflar (yalnızca ekleme): paylaşım kartını iOS paylaşım menüsündeki "Resmi Kaydet" ile galerine kaydetmeyi seçtiğinde kullanılır. Brewly bunun için galerini okumaz.

• Bildirimler: açıp kapatabileceğin nazik hatırlatmalar için: kafein kesme saati, günlük hatırlatma, ay sonu fişi, kiler tazelik ve bitmek üzere uyarıları, zamanlayıcıdaki uzun demleme adımları. Bunlar iPhone'unda planlanan yerel bildirimlerdir; bildirim sunucusu kullanılmaz. Kiler uyarıları kilit ekranında bir ürün adı (ör. "Ethiopia Guji") gösterebilir.

Brewly konumuna, kişilerine, mikrofonuna, sağlık verilerine veya reklam kimliğine erişmez.

4. Paylaşma ve dışa aktarma (yalnızca sen seçtiğinde)

• Paylaşım kartları: Paylaş'a dokunduğunda Brewly bir görsel (ör. fiş görünümlü kart) çizer ve iOS paylaşım menüsüne verir. Görselin nereye gideceği (Mesajlar, Instagram, Fotoğraflar…) senin seçimindir ve o uygulamanın kendi politikasına tabidir.

• CSV dışa aktarma: verilerini dışa aktardığında Brewly cihazında bir CSV dosyası oluşturur ve paylaşım menüsüne verir. Bu dosya bize hiç gelmez.

Paylaşım için oluşturulan geçici dosyalar, iOS'un kendiliğinden temizlediği geçici klasörde tutulur.

5. Satın almalar ve RevenueCat

Brewly Premium, Apple'ın App Store'u üzerinden satılır. Ödemeyi Apple işler. Adını, Apple kimliğini, e-posta adresini veya ödeme bilgilerini hiçbir zaman görmeyiz.

Satın alımının veya aboneliğinin aktif olup olmadığını öğrenmek için (bu cihazda ve "Geri yükle"ye dokunduğunda) Brewly, bir abonelik hizmeti olan RevenueCat'i kullanır. RevenueCat'e şunlar gider:

• RevenueCat yazılımının cihazında oluşturduğu rastgele, anonim bir uygulama kullanıcı kimliği (bu kimliği adınla veya Apple kimliğinle biz eşleştirmeyiz);

• Apple'dan gelen satın alma bilgin (hangi ürün, satın alma ve bitiş tarihleri, deneme ve yenileme durumu, mağaza ülkesi ve para birimi);

• isteği yapabilmek için gereken temel teknik bilgiler (uygulama sürümü, iOS sürümü, cihaz modeli ve internet bağlantısının doğal parçası olarak IP adresi gibi).

Aboneliğini iOS Ayarlar → adın → Abonelikler bölümünden veya Brewly Ayarlar'dan yönetebilir ya da iptal edebilirsin.

6. Veriler ne kadar tutulur, nasıl silinir

• Günlüğün, sen silene kadar iPhone'unda kalır.

• Ayarlar → Tüm verileri sil tüm fincanları, kafeleri, kiler ürünlerini, tarifleri ve fotoğrafları uygulamadan siler. Uygulama tercihlerin (dil, para birimi gibi) korunur.

• Brewly uygulamasını silmek, widget özeti dahil tüm verilerini iPhone'undan kaldırır.

• Satın almalarını geri yükleyebilmen için satın alma kayıtları Apple ve RevenueCat'te tutulur. RevenueCat kimliği anonim olduğu için kaydını bulamayabiliriz; silinmesini istersen bize yaz, elimizden geleni yaparız.

7. Sağlık bilgisi

Brewly'deki kafein değerleri, kendi takibin için genel tahminlerdir; tıbbi tavsiye değildir. Brewly, Apple Sağlık uygulamasından veri okumaz ve oraya veri yazmaz.

8. Çocuklar

Brewly 13 yaşından küçük çocuklara yönelik değildir ve kimseden kişisel bilgi toplamak üzere tasarlanmamıştır. Brewly'de hesap olmadığı ve günlük verileri bize gelmediği için çocuklardan bilerek kişisel bilgi toplamayız.

9. Hakların

KVKK ve GDPR gibi veri koruma yasaları, kişisel verilerin üzerinde sana haklar tanır. Günlüğün yalnızca cihazında saklandığı için kontrol sende: uygulamada istediğin zaman görebilir, değiştirebilir, dışa aktarabilir veya silebilirsin. RevenueCat'te tutulan satın alma kayıtlarıyla ilgili ya da başka herhangi bir gizlilik sorunda aşağıdaki adresten bize ulaşabilirsin.

10. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler

Brewly'nin verileri işleme biçimini değiştirirsek bu sayfayı güncelleriz ve yukarıdaki yürürlük tarihini değiştiririz. Önemli bir değişiklikte (örneğin Brewly bir gün günlük verilerini cihazın dışına göndermeye başlarsa) bunu yürürlüğe girmeden önce uygulama içinde de bildiririz.
