I am an Associate Professor of Real Estate at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
My research lies at the intersection of urban and development economics. In my work, I use spatial data to study the functioning of cities in emerging economies, with work in India, Indonesia, and Brazil.
I am an affiliate of BREAD, a JPAL invited researcher, and a former board member at large in the Urban Economics Association.
I hold a B.A. and a M.Sc. in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University and a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT.
