About Me & My Experience 

Passionate animal lover, 2+ years kennel attendant experience and 2+ years pet sitting experience.

My name is Dakota, 26 years of age, Pueblo, Colorado born and raised. I’ve had dogs, cats and a few different exotic pets since I was about 3 years old. My passion is to provide love and care, trustworthy and reliable services to suit you and your fur baby's needs!

I have been pet sitting for over 2 years and I have over 2 years experience working as a kennel attendant primarily handling and caring for dogs and cats. I have worked with many different breeds and personalities, from puppies and kittens to seniors! I have also cared for bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, turtles, chickens, horses and a cat colony.

Medication and Techniques:

Feeding: Any special diet or specific requirements your babies may have I will follow those, ensure it is done correctly and at the time they normally get their meals. If they are "free feed" I will ensure they have food in their bowl. I have experienced many instances where pets need to be separated to feed because they may fight over food or one steals the other's food; I take instances like this seriously to avoid any conflict. 

Senior Care: There are a few common health issues I have experienced with senior pets. Some of these include arthritis, vision and/or hearing loss and cognitive decline. If needed, I am able to carry small to medium pets to where they need to go. 

Behavioral and Health Changes: If anything concerning were to arise while your babies are in my care, I will contact you and follow your instructions to ensure they are taken care of properly. I will always ensure to have your veterinarian's information and any emergency contacts you provide me with on hand. It is important to stay proactive and ensure they are getting the proper care and any medical attention they may need!
