Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) presents some of the most complex challenges in the field of speech pathology. While addressing language disorders within the context of ASD can be demanding and, at times, intensive, it remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Beyond the clinical goals, I have learned how to truly communicate and connect with these children on a deeper level.
Through years of experience, I have learned that there is no 'magic' solution; rather, progress is built on consistent, evidence-based therapies and scientific patterns. By focusing on critical components such as word retrieval, language processing, and social communication, I am confident that my years of dedicated effort and clinical experience can truly make a difference for these children.
Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a complex disorder that is exceptionally difficult to diagnose, as it is often misidentified as autism, cognitive delay, or other developmental conditions, and frequently co-occurs with them.
Because CAS is a motor planning issue rather than a simple speech delay, it requires intensive, high-frequency practice and immense patience from both the child and the therapist. Effective treatment relies heavily on the clinician’s ability to provide precise motor-sequencing cues, which is why it should be managed by a highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Having treated numerous children with CAS and being frequently invited to lecture on this specific disorder, I bring a level of clinical insight that ensures the highest chance of success. My goal is to provide the specialized expertise and dedicated support needed to help your child find their clear and confident voice
Bilingual & Early Language Intervention
Early language intervention is a vital support system that can benefit any child, even those born without any specific health concerns. Often, with the right therapy at the right time, these early challenges can be effectively resolved.
Families navigating a move to a new country or living in a multicultural environment may find their children facing unique bilingual language disorders. Having worked extensively with children from diverse linguistic and multicultural backgrounds, I understand the complexities of their development. I am here to provide the specialized guidance and support your family needs to help your child thrive in every language they speak
Voice Therapy
Having worked at several ENT hospitals, I have extensive experience diagnosing and treating patients with various voice conditions, including vocal nodules and polyps"As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), I belong to a professional group that is highly susceptible to voice disorders. Because I face these same risks, I regularly perform therapeutic exercises on myself to keep my own voice in peak condition
I know firsthand that losing your voice is incredibly frustrating and disruptive to daily life. While many believe that surgical removal of nodules is the quickest fix, voice therapy is often a much safer, more sustainable, and non-invasive path to recovery.
If you are struggling with voice problems, you are in good hands. Let’s work together to restore your vocal health through proven, evidence-based techniques.
