Meet Amy Lynn & Jesse
As a married couple who grew up with dogs, we share a history and bond in caring for them. After losing our Lhasa-poo in 2016, we began hosting guest dogs (via Rover) and quickly realized it was the perfect way to bring that joy back into our home. When there's a happy dog (or three!) following us around, our house truly feels like home.
Since then, we've welcomed 30+ guest dogs into our home, many of whom are now loved regulars. We enjoyed hosting so much that we officially formed Happy Dog Boarding and Daycare LLC in 2023. We delight in every personality, from toy chasers to snuggle buddies!
In our free time, we're enjoying what the Madison area has to offer. Jesse loves fishing on Lake Mendota, while Amy Lynn enjoys thrifting at Dig 'n Save. We love what we do and look forward to meeting you and welcoming your dog into our pack!

In Memory of Luca Bean
Luca was the original "Superdog" of our home. While we had dogs growing up, she was the reason we truly became dog people as adults. She came to us with the name Sassy, which fit her perfectly for years before she became our grumpy old lady.
She taught us that joy is found only in the now, the present moment. She had a way of moving us from "doing" into "being," and sharing that sense of presence with the guest dogs in our pack is the heartbeat of our business today.
