I’m Julie Pfrogner, a passionate lampwork glass artist creating from my cozy home studio in Ashburn, VA. I’m also a wife and a mother of two wonderful girls, who continue to inspire my creativity every day.
My journey into the world of glass art began after my career as a ceramist in the dental industry. While working with fine detail and precision there, I discovered lampworking—the mesmerizing art of melting glass over a torch to form unique shapes, beads, and sculptures. What started as a curiosity quickly grew into a deep love. I taught myself the craft, and it soon became both my creative outlet and my artistic passion.
Nature and animals are my greatest muses. Their colors, patterns, and quiet beauty influence every piece I create. Whether I’m shaping a bead, crafting a whimsical character, or designing jewelry, my goal is to capture a sense of joy, movement, and wonder in glass.
