Hello, I'm Asmita, the founder and guide at Happy Campers Daycare. With a deep passion for early childhood education, I found my calling in creating a space where children are seen, respected, and cherished.
My commitment is to inclusive, community-focused care that supports not just the child, but the whole family. I believe in nurturing a child's natural sense of wonder and providing them with the tools and the confidence to become independent, compassionate, and joyful learners. I can't wait to welcome your family into our little community.
Our Space
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Happy Campers Daycare. I'm so thrilled to partner with you on your child's journey of growth and discovery.
My philosophy is simple: I believe children thrive in a calm, loving, Montessori-inspired space that feels like an extension of home. We are a "less is more" community, where every child is nurtured to develop their independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Here is what you and your child can expect from our program.
Our space is intentionally clean, uncluttered, and inviting. You won't find bins of over-stimulating plastic toys. Instead, every item has a purpose and is accessible on low shelves, encouraging your child to focus, explore, and develop a natural sense of order.
We offer a carefully curated selection of Montessori-inspired materials that build real-life skills. These activities are the "work" of the child and are designed to:
Develop concentration and problem-solving
Refine fine and gross motor skills
Encourage imagination and open-ended exploration
Build sensorial awareness and cognitive abilities
My husband and I are passionate about healthy eating. I am committed to serving wholesome meals and snacks made with fresh, whole ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. We will always be mindful of dietary needs and allergies.
Our days are filled with meaningful interactions that support the whole child. A low 1:3 teacher-to-child ratio means your child receives the individual attention and personalized guidance they deserve. Our activities include:
📚 Enriching Storytime to build language and literacy.
🎶 Music & Movement for rhythm, coordination, and expression.
🎨 Process-Oriented Art that focuses on creativity, not the product.
🌱 Practical Life "Work" like pouring, spooning, and dressing.
🌲 Outdoor Exploration to connect with nature and move our bodies.
🤝 Circle Time to build community and emotional understanding.
Choosing a daycare is one of the most significant decisions you'll make. I want you to feel complete confidence that Happy Campers is a place where your child will be truly seen, loved, and nurtured.
I am so excited to embark on this journey with your family. Please reach out with any questions or to schedule your personal tour.
Warmly, Asmita
