A. Happily Ever Kitty has been in business since July of 2019.
Q: What areas do you service?
We exclusively serve Los Altos and Mountain View neighboorhoods.
Q: What are your service hours?
A. We will typically visit your cat(s) between 7:00am - 7:00pm.
The time your cat is visited depends on a variety of logistical details such as location, traffic, and proximity to other clients. We will try our best to visit your cat(s) as closely as possibe to your requested time, but cannot guarantee it.
Q: How much does it cost to have you take care of my cat(s)?
A. We charge $30 per visit. Additional time may be requested at a rate of $30 per half hour. You can view what each visit includes on our Service and Rates page.
Q: How do I sign up as a client?
A. Visit our Contact Us page and send us an email, text, or call. In emails, texts, and calls, please state your name and the details of your request: city location, dates, requested times, the number of cat(s), and any other relevant information. From there, we can schedule the meet and greet.
Q: What type of payment does Happily Ever Kitty accept and when is it due?
A. We accept cash, check, or Venmo. Payment is due in full by the first visit.
Q: What can I expect during the meet and greet?
A. During a meet and greet, our goal is to get to know you and your cat(s), and gather the necessary information for our visits, like the location of your cat(s) supplies. We will also confirm the dates and times of our visits alongside any other household needs or preferences, and collect payment.
Q: How will we exchange keys?
A. You can either provide us your keys during the initial meet and greet or we can pick them up at a later time for a $10 fee. After your trip is completed, we can leave your keys in a designated location in your house, keep your keys on file, or drop off your keys for a $10 fee.
Q: Do you offer every-other-day visits?
A. No, we are professionally liable for the care of your cat from the start date to the end date of your trip. While you are away, it is important we ensure the proper safety and care of your cat daily.
Q: Do you offer boarding services?
A. We do not offer boarding services, but would love to visit your cat(s) in their own home!
Q: Can you administer medication to my cat(s)?
A. Yes.
Q: Do you take care of other animals besides cats? My household has a dog, bunny, fish, etc.
A. We only provide services to households with cats.
