新型コロナウイルスは今、世界の経済や医療を崩壊させようとしている。その中で世界中のディズニーランド、ディズニーランドパークがしばらく休園すると発表した。アメリカのディズニーランドカリフォルニアとウォルトディズニーワールドでは、無期限の休園を発表した。ディズニーの影響はこれだけでない。公開予定であった、実写版ムーランや二分の一の魔法などの映画の公開の延期が次々と決まっている。私は、いち早くコロナウイルスとの戦いが終わることを願っています。

Disneyland California and Walt Disney World in the United States have announced indefinite closures. This is not the only influence of Disney. 2019年5月1日で30周年を迎えたディズニー・ハリウッド・スタジオ。30年前「ディズニー MGM スタジオ」という名前で、フロリダの「ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド・リゾート」にオープンしました。その後名称を「ディズニー・ハリウッド・スタジオ」として生まれ変わりましたが、今もなお映画などをテーマにしたパークとして親しまれています。
