Pets carry health risks for some people. While there are some diseases that can be transmitted from cats and dogs to their human handlers, allergies are the most common health risk of pet ownership. If you or a family member has been diagnosed with a pet allergy, carefully consider whether you can live with the symptoms before committing to pet ownership. Also consider that some friends or relatives with allergies may no longer be able to visit your home if you have a pet.

No surprises then that I thought it would be interesting to dig into the research on how to become a happier person. Spoiler: there's a lot of it! After combing through as much as I could, here are 11 of the simplest ways I uncovered to be happy today, according to science.

Where to stay: For your first few days in Aruba, I recommend staying in one of the hotels/resorts on Eagle or Palm beach. This is where the greatest concentration of hotels are on the island, along with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The adults-only Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is the #1-rated Aruba hotel on TripAdvisor, while the Playa Linda Beach Resort and the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort are other good options in the area that won't completely break the bank. (You can compare prices on other Aruba hotels here.)

The previous two days were pretty active, so here's your chance to just hang out at a beach all day. Aruba has lots of great beaches to choose from. You could rent a car today and just go beach-hopping. Beaches in Aruba are almost all public, meaning you can stop and visit any that look good to you.

When you're beached-out, you can catch a boat back to your hotel (it's only about a 10-minute ride) and maybe go out for dinner in Oranjestad; there are lots of good restaurants within walking distance of your hotel.

Have been to Aruba 8 times and found a lot of your advice spot on. We chose here because they are out of the hurricane belt, most everyone speaks English, the dollar is king, can safely go anywhere, and the locals are very friendly. Took in Renaissance Island last time via a website (flamingo island) I think to get a ride over. Price includes lunch at Papagaiys. We also like to rent a car at or near the airport for the flexibility as we used it daily. Baby and Arashi beach are two favorites and decent snorkeling. We have favorites for restaurants with Flying Fishbone being our anniversary night out. See you out there!

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles or any other caring adult over the age of 18 can open an NC 529 Account for a beneficiary at any time with a minimum contribution of $25. There are no enrollment fees or sales charges to open an account, and you can contribute to your savings as often as you like, with a minimum deposit of $25 each time. There are 13 easy-to-understand investment options from which to choose, so you have control over how your money is invested through the years. As you watch your child grow, you can rest easy knowing that his or her college savings are growing as well.

Be sure you have a life of your own, otherwise it is harder to have a life together. Have your own interests, your own friends, your own support network, and your own hobbies. Overlap where you can, but not being identical should give you something to talk about . . . and helps to expand your horizons as a couple.

There is no 50/50 in housecleaning, child rearing, vacation planning, dishwasher emptying, gift buying, dinner making, money making, etc. The sooner everyone accepts that, the happier everyone is. We all have things we like to do and hate to do; we all have things we are good at and not so good at. TALK to your partner about those things when it comes to dividing and conquering all the crap that has to get done in life.

I dont know any Utopia stories so I will just write about my own life and how I would like it to be in a Utopia world. In my utopian world there would be no violence, such as wars and domestic violences. I would like peace within this world. No more arguments with one another because then someone might have a different opinion and want to try change my world like what Kuno wanted to do in the story The Machine Stops. I would want this world of mine to be hot all year around but not too hot passing the hundreds. The weather should be about 70-90 degrees. The two images I attached is a mixture on how I would like my Utopia world to look like because I like hot weather and city landscapes. If I could get both that would be perfect.

My idea of a Utopian world is not far of from the world we live in today. I imagine a world where pain and suffering would be abolished. To wake up every morning and not worry about meaningless things such as bills, problems, money and all materialistic things. To wake up and take in the fresh air, to close your eyes and be thankful for another glorious day, to enjoy life and what it has to offer.

Shockingly, there was little difference in my life between working hard and enjoying it. Little difference to others. However, it was a big difference to my mental health. I discovered I could do more with less. Less work, less stress, less perfection. e24fc04721
