Dr. Wissem Haouas is an Associate Professor of Robotics at the University of Marie & Louis Pasteur. His research focuses on the design and control of soft fluidic robots for multi-scale manipulation tasks. He has a particular interest in biomimetic approaches, especially active strategies for controlling adhesion forces at small scales. In addition, he has contributed to the design and analysis of parallel robots with reconfigurable platforms for micromanipulation applications.
