I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Ghent University in Belgium. I obtained my Master of Finance (& Minor in Economics) from Peking University HSBC Business School in China in 2021. ,
I study Labour Economics and Public Economics. My research covers different microeconomic agents in the labour market—firms, employees, and households. I do both empirical and theoretical work and use both administrative and survey data. I also study Causal Inference and design new causal methods. I enjoy evidence-based storytelling.
My PhD thesis studies small firms' responses to tax cut policies, focusing on tax incidence, wage setting, and entrepreneurship.
I am on the Econ Job Market of 2025/2026 and available for interviews.
