This policy explains what information is involved when you use the mobile application Hanuman Aarti & Chalisa (package com.hanumanaartichalisa.hanumanpaath), published for Android and iOS.
The app has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details, and we do not collect, sell, or rent personal information about you. The prayers and all app content work offline.
The app is free and supported by advertising. The advertising providers described in section 3 do collect device information, and that is the only information that leaves your device.
The app saves your settings and reading activity locally, on your own device, using the operating system's standard app storage. This includes:
your reading position in each prayer, and your reading history and completion streak
your favourites
display preferences such as font size, dark mode, and auto-scroll speed
your reminder settings — whether reminders are on, and the days and time you chose
This information stays on your device. We have no server, and it is never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. Note that if you have a device backup enabled, your operating system may include this data in that backup under Apple's or Google's own terms.
The app is free and is funded by advertising. Advertisements are served by Google AdMob and by advertising networks that work with Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) mediation.
To select, deliver, and measure advertisements, these providers may collect and process:
your device advertising identifier — the Android Advertising ID, or the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS
your IP address, and coarse location derived from it, such as your country or region
device and technical information such as device model, operating system version, language, and network type
information about the advertisements shown to you and how you interacted with them
This information is collected by those providers under their own privacy policies. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you; we see only aggregated reporting such as impression, click, and revenue totals.
Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Unity's practices are described in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
You can limit personalised advertising at any time:
Android — Settings, then Google, then Ads, where you can delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.
iOS — Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking. The app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline it, your advertising identifier is not shared for tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
Opting out does not remove advertising from the app. It means the advertising you see is less likely to be tailored to you.
If you turn on reminders, the app schedules them locally on your device using the operating system's notification system, at the days and time you choose. Reminders are generated on the device itself. No reminder is sent from a server, and your schedule is not transmitted anywhere. The app re-registers your reminders after the device restarts so they are not lost.
You can turn reminders off in the app at any time, or revoke the notification permission in your device settings.
When you use the share option, the app hands the selected text to your device's standard share sheet. You choose the destination app. We do not see what you share or who you share it with. Once the text reaches another app, that app's own privacy policy applies.
For the avoidance of doubt, this app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, no social media SDK, and no in-app purchases. It does not request your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, or precise location. It has no account system, so there is nothing to log in to and no profile associated with you.
The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact reward.4game@gmail.com and it will be deleted.
Because we operate no server and hold no user records, there is nothing for us to retain about you. Data on your device is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app. Advertising data is retained by the relevant advertising provider under its own retention schedule, which we do not control.
If you contact us by email, we keep your email address and message for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a reasonable record, and then delete it.
The advertising providers named in this policy operate globally, so the information described in section 3 may be processed on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts and public authorities under the laws of those countries. Those providers apply their own safeguards for such transfers.
Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, and under comparable laws elsewhere, you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw a consent you have given. Because we hold almost no personal information, such a request will usually concern email correspondence only. Write to reward.4game@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Requests concerning data held by an advertising provider should be made to that provider directly.
Third-party names, logos, and trademarks referred to in the app are the property of their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above is updated. Material changes will be noted on this page.
