The Hansen CAPT is looking for volunteers to be room parents for their children’s classroom. Each classroom benefits from at least TWO room parents each year. This is a wonderful way to stay connected to your child’s classroom activities, get to know other parents, get involved with the CAPT, and be involved in the school. The room parents collect money from the class to buy the class gift for teacher appreciation week, holidays, and at the end of the school year.
If you are interested, fill out the form below by Thursday, Sept. 12th.

CORIs are required for all visitors (parents, guardians, vendors, etc.) to schools. CORIs are good for 3 years.
CORI is a name-based criminal record check (CORI).
Please submit your completed CORI form and a photocopy of the front and back of your driver's license either in-person or via e-mail to Barbie Cavanaugh, Hansen front office, or e-mail Barbie Cavanaugh, cavanaghb@cantonma.org. Make sure to reference the reason for submission (Room Parent for Mr./Ms. X's class, etc.)

District Fingerprinting to Volunteer
Fingerprinting is required only when there is potentially unmonitored/unsupervised time with students (e.g., field trip chaperone). Fingerprinting only has to be done once. Note: Schedule your appointment online as soon as possible as it may take time.

tutoring, coaching, extracurricular activities
one-on-one support in classrooms and/or in extracurricular programs
chaperoning field trips
