The blue pins are places where many homeless people gather after 8:30pm.
The orange pins are organizations you can donate resources or money to.
You will typically find multiple homeless people together, and each Care Kit is meant for one person.
Everything on the list is fairly cheap and can be purchased in local minimarts such as VinMart.
You can pack items in plastic bags (not the best option environmentally), zip-lock bags, paper bags, or another bag of choice. They should be large enough to fit multiple items with various shapes and support the weight.

Bag of bread (VinMart, CircleK, L's Place, etc)
Instant Noodles (VinMart - you can find them almost anywhere for very cheap)
Fruit (ex: Bananas, Mangos, Longan, etc) (VinMart or fresh markets)
Vegetables (ex: carrot strips, cut cucumber, etc) (grocery stores or fresh markets)
Canned Foods (ex: Tuna and crackers)
Vietnamese Food (many street food vendors - pictures shown below)
Bánh Mì
Bánh Bao
Rice, meat, and vegetables in styrofoam boxes
1.5 Litre (or Large) bottle of water
Juice boxes (fruit juices)
Socks (especially during winter)
Toilet paper

Hanoi's winters can get cold - winters are usually around 14º Celsius and can get as low as 8ºC. Having to stay out in the cold for long periods is uncomfortable enough, never mind sleeping on the cold, windy streets for months at a time.
