The Hannibal Free Public Library is seeking a Programming and Circulation Associate 1 to fill a dynamic, dual-role position. If you excel at customer service and love bringing creative programs to life, this is the perfect opportunity.
This role is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable in a front-facing public service role while also creating and implementing engaging, literacy-focused events for all ages.
· Programming & Events: Develop, coordinate, and lead a variety of engaging programs for all ages, including assisting with the major Summer Reading Program.
· Customer Service: Provide excellent front-line service, managing circulation, offering reference assistance, and providing basic technology help at the public service desks.
High school diploma/GED.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality.
Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties (e.g., shelving, setting up for events).
Must be able to pass a background check
Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Must be available to work evenings and weekends (2-3 Saturdays per month).
