This is a self-initiated concept project. The redesign and improvements shown here are theoretical and serve to showcase my skills in UX, content strategy, and SEO.
✦ Header & Navigation:
Simplified messy header with unnecessary links; added intuitive icons and enlarged search bar for better usability.
✦ SEO & Copywriting:
Added SEO-friendly category description under H1 to communicate page/product value; improved readability and structure.
✦ Popular Brands:
Reorganized existing brand section into horizontally scrollable icons; enhanced internal linking.
✦ Product Grid & Filters:
Adjusted layout from four to three products per row; added UX-friendly filters (category, skin concern, type, SPF, brand) and “Sort by” options; displayed product count.
✦ Product Cards:
Aligned content left; clarified pricing with red current price and strikethrough old price; removed grey weight labels; added star ratings for authority signals.
✦ SEO-driven copy:
Added user-focused Korean skincare benefits text; FAQ section with expandable answers based on Google search queries, including high-volume relevant keywords.
✦ Authority & Internal Linking:
Added “Why Shop Here” section highlighting store benefits; included “Shop by Skin Concern” block for further internal linking opportunities.
