Currently, I research and teach at the University of Cologne as a Juniorprofessor for Banking. I graduated from the University of St.Gallen with a PhD in Economics and Finance and then worked at the IMF (in the European as well as the Money and Capital Markets Department). 

My research focuses on banking and financial market structures in the euro area. My research has been published in the Review of Financial Studies and the Review of International Economics and has been presented at conferences such as the AEA meetings.
