I am a junior at the University of New Hampshire, double majoring in Business Administration with a Marketing Option and Sport Management & Leadership. My passion for sports began when I was young. For as long as I can remember, my family attended sporting events, particularly minor league hockey and baseball. We were constantly watching sports of all types on TV. My love for watching sports extended into a passion for a behind-the-scenes career in the industry, particularly focused on social media and marketing.
Over the last two years, I have interned with the UNH Athletics Wildcat Internship Program on the communications track. With this internship, I have focused on creating short-form content, updating graphics, and capturing live in game content for a variety of D1 teams.
I've been heavily involved in developing, designing and implementing content for both video and social media posts including engaging sports videos and trivia content. Specifically I had the opportunity to follow through on my designs for the UNH Men's Soccer Team, creating fun and engaging short-form video content that boosted fan engagement across all social media platforms.
Looking ahead into the future, I hope to continue to work for the UNH Athletics Wildcat Internship to hone my social media creation and implementation skills. These include not just design, but also the technical skills involved, including Adobe, Capcut, and Canva. I aim to enhance my current skills and experience with an internship in professional sports in the near term.
