How will I know what my child's grades are?
I will post grades on every Friday. So, grades will always be up to date.
When will there be holiday parties?
We will have a Halloween party and a Christmas party, and for the exact date you can go to the calendar and look on there.
Can I make an appointment with you?
Yes, just email me and let me know when a great time will be to meet, and we can set up a meeting then.
What is the homework for this week?
I post the homework for each month under the homework and so you can go and look under there and it will also have the due dates.
How will you handle my child if they have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)?
For any of my students with this I will work with them one-on-one. Then not only that if they need extra time on any assignments or test then I am willing to give it to them.
If my child misses, can they still turn in their homework?
Yes, as long as they have a doctor's note or any note that gives me a good reason of why they missed then I will still let them turn in their homework that they missed.
What can I do to help improve my child's learning at home?
Just have them practice the skills and material that I am teaching them in class and make sure that they do their homework on time.
Will my child be going on field trips?
Yes, they will be going on one or two field trips, but you can get the dates and times and other information about this under the announcements page.
What are you teaching credentials?
I graduated from the teacher education program at Arkansas State University with my bachelor's degree (December 2022). With Elementary education K-6 in all of the subject areas.
What types of assessments are used in your classroom?
All of the assignments, tests/quizzes will be on paper that they will turn it in to me and graded. My students will do projects and presentations throughout the year.
