Instructor of Record Courses
Intermediate Microeconomic Theory - Summer 2017 & Spring 2019
Selected Evaluation Responses
• she does so much to help you learn and really cares about you doing well. explains things clearly and provides plenty of practice to help understanding. makes herself very available to help students whenever she can
• The way she comes across is kinda like "I'm not like a regular instructor. I'm a COOL instructor." and I mean that in the best way possible. She made everything really chill and although at times it was super lecture heavy by nature of the course, there were times where she would try to not make it that way by introducing class polls and Kahoot and working on long math problems in groups.
• She was extremely helpful in offering her time when students needed help. She encouraged us to work together and offered a lot of supplemental material and real life examples. There were also times I was very impressed by the way she handled the class, she maintained a positive and engaging attitude without letting disruptive students get in the way of her teaching. For example, I needed help on all of my homework and each time she was very accommodating about setting up a time to help me.
Selected Evaluation Responses
• I liked her temperament. During times when some would be disruptive students in class, Ms. Hoover was fantastic and didn't let the dominate our focus.
• Hanna hoover was a great instructer. She kept the interesting and fun by doing group work and fun online quizes on newly learned material to help grasp the concepts. She also kept well organized with the use of powerpoints.
