Prototyping circular futures through physical design, behavioral insight, and product feasibility.
I'm Hannah Michaud, a designer with deep experience in material innovation and knowledge across user research and product design.
My instinct is to bridge craft with efficiency. With a background in design, sustainability, and service, I work across disciplines to develop sustainable products, validate new materials, and uncover insights that guide decision-making.
I use storytelling and tangible testing to bring ideas to life. Across 9 concept projects, I’ve built 500+ prototypes and engaged users in 6 real-world settings from labs to public spaces to understand behavior and align solutions with real needs.
I have defined 5+ tactile and technical KPIs (like feel, durability, performance) to guide decisions and align with 10+ stakeholder groups. Whether building sample libraries or mapping user journeys, I make early ideas testable, shareable, and strategic.
My process is immersive and pragmatic. I work quickly to validate, involve stakeholders early, and translate insights into usable systems. I speak the language of users, engineers, and business, aligning the “why” behind the design.
Based in Copenhagen, I’m open to opportunities across Denmark.
Jeg taler dansk og er altid klar til en snak.
