For this project, I designed a multi-use agricultural property located at 12474 NE 36th Ave in Anthony, Florida. The land is zoned A-1 Agricultural and has a long, narrow shape with areas of open pasture and natural tree lines. My main goal was to create a layout that keeps the agricultural identity of the property while also adding spaces for wellness, small events, and short-term visitors.
This project was about creating and comparing two architectural building models based on different styles. I designed a British building using a simple skillion and lean-to roof for practical use and drainage, and a Japanese pavilion-style building with large overhangs and a raised platform inspired by traditional temples. The goal was to understand how architecture changes based on climate, culture, and construction methods.
Designed with a group as part of EGR301 to create an outdoor study and gathering space on campus. The project emphasizes modularity, accessibility, and integration with existing campus infrastructure.
