Career Goals

In the future, I know I will be working in the field of psychology. I love every aspect of it, which makes choosing a path extremely difficult. I enjoy working with children, which pushes me towards child psychology. On the other hand, I have always had an interest in how criminal profiles are created, which sets me on a path towards forensics psychology. I also enjoy learning about the ideal working environments, which leads me to industrial and organizational psychology. 

I have many routes that I want to pursue so I plan to utilize the time I have in college to determine which path is best for me. While I do not know exactly what I will choose in the future, I know I will stick to psychology. I want to help as many people as I can, and I know I can in this field. 

10 years from now, I see myself with a Doctorate in Psychology. I want to continue my education after I receive my Bachelor's Diploma. Additionally, I see myself performing research at a University as it has recently become an interest of mine. Through my courses, I have determined that I enjoy reading research studies and I want to be a part of it. I am unsure of what career I will have 10 years from now as I have not officially decided what career I want. However, I know I will be striving for a profession in psychology.
