I am a student in IADT, studying Arts Management. To learn more about my this, head to my "college life" tab.
In my spare time away from college, I am a swimming instructor in Castle Park school. I teach children from the age of 2-10 years of age. I have worked in this facility for 4 years and have worked my way to become a level 2 Swim Ireland Instructor which has given me a lot of opportunities in my work life and provided me with a vast amount of new skills. Every day is different and it has been a great job through out my time in college.
Aside from college and my job, in my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, staying active, and travelling. Sport has been a big aspect for me through out my life. I played GAA for 18 years before hanging up the boots. During secondary school, I was apart of the hockey team for 6 years. From playing with team, it has taught me a lot about the importance of team work and I have gained best friends.
Travelling is also a major part of my life. Immersing myself in new cultures, meeting new people, trying new food and learning about the life of people who live in a different way to us is something I am really grateful for being able to do. I have been on road trips across the US, travelled south east Asia, taken trains across Europe and stayed in every corner of Ireland. I dont know what I am going to do with my future, but this is something I am definitely going to keep up and be extremely thankful for it.
