Hangtime operates 100% locally within your browser. All physics calculations, sound generation, and user configuration preferences (such as chosen avatar skin, rope color, corner position, and UI theme) are stored exclusively on your device using Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local).

2. Data Handling & Security

• No External Servers: Hangtime does not communicate with any external remote servers or third-party analytical APIs.

• No Personal Identification: We do not ask for, collect, or store personal details such as names, emails, IP addresses, or device identifiers.

• No Web Tracking: Hangtime does not read, record, or transmit the content of web pages you visit.

3. Permissions Overview

Hangtime requests minimal Chrome extension permissions strictly to fulfill its primary functionality:

• storage: Used solely to remember your chosen avatar, rope color, sound settings, and theme locally on your machine.

• activeTab: Used to display the temporary interactive physics canvas overlay when you enable the extension.

• scripting: Used to programmatically activate the swinger companion on open tabs when toggled ON.
