Welcome! I am excited to begin my role as an Assistant Professor in the School of Earth, Environment, and Sustainability at the University of Iowa. My research focuses on addressing critical hydrogeological, environmental, energy, and critical resource challenges by integrating advanced geophysical methods, numerical physical modeling, and machine learning. I aim to build a collaborative and dynamic research group to tackle these pressing issues and contribute to sustainable solutions.

Graduate Assistant (Master’s and Ph.D. Students)
Description: We are looking for highly motivated Master’s and Ph.D. students to join our research group and contribute to innovative projects addressing critical hydrogeological, environmental, energy, and resource challenges. These projects involve advanced geophysical imaging techniques, hydrological modeling, and machine learning applications to improve our understanding of subsurface processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applicants or Master’s degree for Ph.D. applicants in geology, geophysics, environmental science, or a related field.
Strong interest in environmental sustainability, hydrogeology, and data-driven methods.
Experience with programming, numerical modeling, or data analysis is a plus.
