Travis Carter

Professional life:

Travis has over 25 year’s experience in the design, test and system integration of various electronic systems for commercial, aerospace and military platforms. He is a NARTE Certified EMI/EMC Engineer, a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and a Master in Space Systems. Currently providing Hardware Systems Design and Integration lead for aviation systems requiring extensive knowledge of EMI/EMC and Lightning protection. As resident Certified EMC engineer he also provides expert review of electronic designs, support for EMC/Lightning testing in addition to problem solving and investigation of company EMC/Lightning related problems. As a senior technical resource and problem solver, he has been the leader in the electronics integration process developments and improvements based on both user and customer perspectives.

We operated an Electrical Systems Contracting business from 2001 to 2011 providing "every-wire" in the house services specializing in Smart Home technologies and Audio-Video Systems in addition to full service Electrical. The Great Recession took its toll on our business and like much other construction related business we eventually closed and had to return to my engineering career.

Personal life:

Travis has been happily married for almost 30 years with two children in college and two in middle school. His main hobby is times with the family including sports, outdoor life, traveling, cooking and positively impacting the next generation. His passion is problem solving providing innovative solutions for real world problems.
